About Me

Lucy is currently working a junior content executive at Barcadia Media, writing content for social media, marketing blogs, and articles for the Financial Reporter Awards, Mortgage Adviser Event, and the Women's Recognition Awards among many others. 

In the last year, she worked as a staff writer for Tennis UpToDate, run by Zweeler. She publishes up to 18 articles per day researching, writing, and editing a range of detailed previews, reports, news updates and commentary pieces. 

Before this, she worked for SCAN: Student Comment and News at Lancaster University, regularly contributing to the News, Comment, Screen, and Lifestyle sections and acting as an international correspondent.

Previously, she has worked for The Times as a junior research interviewer, accomplishing the task of compiling 25 interviews with graduate students in a two week time frame, in order to inform The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers book.

In 2022, Lucy created and ran the website and Instagram blog Lucy in Lyon, which posted regularly about life studying abroad in France. 

During the academic year 2020-21, Lucy was the News Manager for Lancaster University's student radio station 87.7 Bailrigg FM and won the Student Union's 2021 Student Media Award for Outstanding Contribution. Prior to this, Lucy was a News Assistant for the station throughout the academic year 2019-2020. 

Lucy has also had writing published in Screen Rant and Her Campus Lancaster. Her creative work has been published in Forever Endeavour Magazine and Cake Magazine, with multiple works set to be published elsewhere in the coming months. 

In September 2020, she worked with LA1TV to host the online Fresher's Fair in a covid-safe way.
